Vehicles in Germany's Town Discovered Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Law Enforcement
Police reported they were notified by a individual who found a car in Hanau covered with red-colored substance

Roughly fifty automobiles have been covered with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Automobiles, walls and postal boxes were defaced, sometimes with swastikas, they stated in a release.

Officers report they were alerted during the night on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a automobile in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the shape of a banned symbol, they reported.

Officers then located many other marked automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

Nazi symbols are illegal in Germany under legislation prohibiting the visible presentation of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement say initial examinations suggest the substance was likely blood from a person.

"Currently there is no lead as to where it came from; officials are currently not cognizant of any harm in connection with the incident," they commented.

Local authorities stated they were attempting "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the residents for details.

A high-ranking representative stated the vandalism rendered him stunned and had to be addressed rapidly.

"This act hits the core of Hanau and reopens the wounds of the extremist terrorist attack in 2020," he stated on social media, recalling the murder of nine victims by a shooter focusing on residents of foreign heritage in 2020.
