WHere is an easy take on a drink featured on our latest drinks list. It's a large-volume premix which is packed with flavours associated with Christmas time, making it perfect for a holiday party. Any leftover cordial for morning drinks, puddings, or to mix more rounds of the drink.

Serves 10 guests
To make the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
To make the Drink (yields 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml citrus syrup (see above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
Making the Cordial: Place all the ingredients inside a pot, bring to a light boil, stirring so the sugar melts. After that, turn off the heat and let it to cool down fully. Transfer into an clean bottle, seal and store in the refrigerator, it will last for up to four weeks.
Preparing the Cocktail Base: Combine all the liquid ingredients into a sizeable container, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then pass it through best through cheesecloth, making it fully clarified.
For serving: Add 85ml of your cocktail base into a stirring glass packed with ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute to chill. Filter to a frosted cocktail glass or similar, decorate with some cranberries and finish with a quick spritz of the essential oil above the glass.
